The iPad, the morning after.

Well the event has come and gone. The iPad is here, some have rejoiced, some have been deflated.

My thoughts, it looks cool, its cheaper than I thought it would be but maybe not cheap enough, no camera? huh? Still no Flash? To me it seems like it could be the cousin to the AppleTV. The iPad seems like it could be so many things and so helpful and then seconds later so useless. I have an iPhone and a MacBook Pro, so why do I need this, is what I keep asking myself.

Anyhue, we shall see, everything they touch explodes, maybe this will as well, the data plan is great, but I think I will wait until version 2.0 with a camera and i can only imagine what else is added to it.

The real thing I am bothered about is that there was no mention of iPhone 4.0! I was planning on something new in my pocket this summer! Let’s hope they are saving that reveal for something just a few weeks from now!
